• Adrienne


    Adrienne is a native North Carolinian - born and raised here, she moved to Washington DC for a few years for grad school but returned to her roots as soon as she could! Growing up Adrienne was always very active, going from a little girl that climbed trees in black patent Mary Janes to trying her hand at just about every sport that kept her moving. She played volleyball and softball throughout school, loving both the physical challenge and the supportive teams she played with over the years. She has always enjoyed the competition too! After finishing school, Adrienne started participating in a variety of fitness classes and really focused on her love for running. Over the years she has completed countless races, including several half marathons.


    Adrienne discovered PBX® and was hooked immediately - she loved how the machine elevated the workout and complemented her running! When asked about teaching, Adrienne jumped at the chance to learn more about the PBX® method and join this amazing team! She loves how this workout grows with you and continues to challenge everyone, regardless of if they’ve been coming for one week or years. Adrienne has been living in the Raleigh area for almost 4 years now and feels like this is the perfect place to raise her sweet, albeit precocious, toddler and precious pup Chewy. She’s so excited to be working with this great community and help others on their fitness journey!

  • Anne


    Anne is a born and raised North Carolinian, growing up in a small town west of Raleigh. She has always had a passion for health + nutrition, starting at young age either swimming, dancing, playing tennis or horseback riding. Anne has been an avid runner for the last 9 years, running multiple half marathons and a handful of marathons. She has always enjoyed barre, Pilates and yoga classes. Anne feel in love with the PBX method after her first class! The machine is the best exercise to compliment her running and help make her core strong. She loves the movements on the machine and using her body in different ways to strengthen her muscles. Anne is excited to help others grow in their knowledge of the machine and their body.

  • Colleen


    Colleen is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. Her spirit and passion for life make her a favorite teacher to students in the classroom as well as those who have been lucky enough to have caught her instructing ballroom and Latin dance or fitness classes. Colleen's love of teaching and fitness led her down the path to becoming a PBX instructor. Her understanding of movement in combination with her personality make her a perfect fit. Colleen is the proud mama of three very energetic kiddos. She has a lifelong passion for dance and can be found salsa dancing if she can stay up late enough! When she isn't teaching or taking care of her tiny humans, she can be found exploring new places, hitting the beach, baking deliciousness, paddle boarding, or lost in a good book. Saltwater, sunshine and dancing recharge her soul. She truly believes in collecting moments, not things.

  • Ethan


    Ethan founded PBX® with his wife Libby. He has always been active and loves sports. He played baseball, basketball and football while growing up in Raleigh. He focused on baseball in college, pitching for four years at Brown University. After graduating, Ethan started to go on longer and longer runs. The last few years, Ethan’s running became more competitive as he completed the Tobacco Road and City of Oaks marathons. He was in search of a workout to counter-balance the aches and strains of distance running. After one class he could not believe how much better his hips, lower back and legs felt from the stretching and strengthening of the PBX® method. He also noticed a huge difference in shoulder stability and strength after years of weight lifting and pitching. Ethan looks forward to working with clients to improve core stability and enhance overall fitness. He loves starting the day off with a high-intensity PBX® class. His favorite move is inchworm because it engages the whole body, stretches the hamstrings and hits those abs hard!

  • Kristen


    Kristen grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Raleigh with her husband in 2004. Exercise and learning new types of movement then became a huge part of her life. She learned to swim as an adult and has completed several sprint length triathlons as well as a half marathon. After attending classes for almost two years, she decided to learn the PBX method and join the team! The PBX method has taught her how to use her core to move and stabilize the body. She loves the variety of movements and class types that can be done using the reformers in combination with modern pilates. She loves any whole-body exercise because it maximizes your workout and hits every part of the body. Kristen lives in North Raleigh with her husband of 12 years, two precious little boys, and two crazy chihuahuas! She is also a part time preschool teacher. She loves being a positive influence in physical fitness to her boys.

  • Lauryn


    Lauryn grew up in the Raleigh area but moved away after college to pursue her career in the film industry in Los Angeles and then Charlotte. She has always been active and played fast pitch softball, cheerleading, and figure skating while growing up. She's run several half marathons and is an avid fitness enthusiast. She moved back to Raleigh four years ago to work for Yelp as the community manager in the Triangle area. Through Yelp she hosted several fitness events and was introduced to her first PBX® class, she immediately fell in love with the workout. The PBX® method brings her three favorite workouts together: yoga, barre, and pilates while utilizing the modern reformer. She enjoys challenging herself in Endurance and Core Jump classes but has overall found incredible strength especially in her core since starting PBX®. She thrives on creativity and variety and she finds both of that with the PBX® method. She looks forward to working with clients to help them reach their fitness goals in a positive and fun environment.

  • Leanna


    Leanna was born and raised in Hawaii. Growing up she enjoyed the freedom of the outdoors and the beaches of the Big Island. Swimming and surfing were a way of life and she continued to swim competitively throughout her childhood and into her early twenties. Traveling and exploring have always been a passion even with three kids in tow. It was after her third child that she found pilates. With the low impact but highly sculpting benefits that the Pilates method she quickly became a fan. After many years of studying, working as a baker and living abroad in Tel Aviv and Hong Kong, Leanna finally relocated back to the U.S, settling in Raleigh. The moment she walked into PBX® she fell in love with the blend of cardio and pilates. What was a love for Pilates quickly become a passion and instructing seemed like the natural progression. Helping other women meet their fitness goals through the PBX® method gives her a sense of pride and allows her to do what she loves.

  • Libby


    Libby Bradley is the owner and founder of the PBX® method. Libby started doing pilates in Los Angeles and completely fell in love with high-intensity pilates. After growing up a competitive gymnast for 10 years, Libby was looking for something that would help heal old injuries while still feeding her love for challenging exercise. Libby returned back from Los Angeles and dreamed of opening a modern pilates and barre studio. She created the method of PBX® pilates barre extreme to give people a whole-body workout that is easy on the joints, while still creating the results of high-impact exercise. With Libby’s past experience of dance, gymnastics, and pole vaulting, the PBX method was born. The PBX® method uses the new modern reformers and the barre really opens up the possibilities beyond traditional pilates and weight training to achieve that long sculpted and toned look. PBX® provides all the benefits of traditional pilates combined with principles of modern kinesiology with a touch of cardio. Libby’s energy and enthusiasm helps challenge her clients and inspires them to get stronger. She believes that you can get stronger every day both mentally and physically through the PBX method.

  • Liz


    Liz grew up in Virginia and moved to Wake Forest after graduating pharmacy school in 2006. She and her husband, Kevin have three kids and one spoiled labradoodle! As a child, gymnastics and team sports were a big part of her life and she continued to play softball and volleyball through high school. It wasn’t until college that Liz found her passion for running. She completed her first marathon in 2000 and was hooked. As a runner, Liz has found that PBX is the perfect complement for her training. Not only has PBX strengthened her core and hips, but it has improved flexibility and helped tremendously in injury prevention. Liz is passionate about slow and controlled movement in the studio and loves working with those new to the reformer, as well as those looking for a personalized, more advanced session too. As a certified personal trainer and a RRCA certified running coach, Liz is confident that PBX offers a modality of movement that can benefit everyone.

  • Melissa


    Melissa has always enjoyed exercise and fitness, and is excited to take her passion to a new level as an instructor at PBX®. Since her teenage years, Melissa has been involved in cheerleading, dance and gymnastics. She participated in competitive cheerleading/dance in high school, cheered in college, and was a member of a professional MLS dance team for a short while before moving to Raleigh in 2003. She also previously coached cheerleading and dance for Pop Warner. Melissa has been regularly attending classes at PBX® for the past year, and has fallen in love with the physical and mental benefits of the PBX® method workout, as well as the supportive community of instructors and clients. Melissa is an advocate for integrated wellness, which extends beyond just physical fitness. Melissa most appreciates how PBX® challenges both her mind and her body, and also lifts her spirit. Improved posture, balance and core strength are huge bonuses! Melissa’s three favorite moves are inchworms, rockstar abs and arabesque lunges, because they challenge her the most. She LOVES a challenge! Melissa is excited to pay it forward by helping bring the benefits of pilates, barre, yoga and strength training to others as an instructor at PBX®!
